Are you surprised by this post’s title?
Most people are, but if you read the previous post, you will begin to understand how certain kinds of whole salt can earn your trust as a potent healer.
Have you been wondering what good things whole-salt can do for you? Well, it’s a really amazing list. We’ll take the next 2 posts to learn more. Check this out!
___ Whole-salt stabilizes irregular heart-beats.
___ In the proper doses, along with pure spring water, whole-salt regulates blood pressure to healthier levels.
___ Whole-salt extracts excess acidity from all body cells, especially brain cells, so: pH normalizes, inflammation lessens, healing can begin.
___ Whole-salt helps to balance blood sugar levels. It contains all the minerals our bodies need, in harmonious proportions. Magnesium is especially important in controlling blood sugar levels.
___ Whole-salt works to keep us alive from conception to death. Every moment of Life, we need the vital minerals of whole-salt to operate our nervous system. Without it, our heart would not beat; our lungs could not process one breath of oxygen, our body could not move and our brain could not think and organize our basic functions or our exceptional awareness and creativity!
___ Whole-salt generates the bio-electric hydro-energy which our cells make to run our body. We ARE bio-electric beings; on one level, you can think of each living being as an individual, aggregated, cellular bio-battery.
___ Whole-salt runs our communication system; we are faster and better than any cell-phone. Our information-processing depends on whole-salt too.
___ Whole-salt is vital for digestion. It enables us to absorb our food through the lining cells of our small intestine.
___ Whole-salt is needed to shed mucus and catarrh from the linings of our breathing tract. This is especially important for asthmatics and those with cystic fibrosis. In fact, prudent use of saline nasal sprays* help to keep nasal passages clear, clean and free of inflammatory blockages.
___ Whole-salt is a natural antihistamine; it can help to counteract a wild response from our immune system.
___ Whole-salt prevents muscle cramps as long as we maintain proper hydration of our body.
Well, that’s about half of my list. Can you believe how much value you get, for pennies, from “expensive”, specialty whole-salts? What a bargain!
We’ll talk again soon –
___ I have mixed my own nasal irrigation solutions according to my physician’s recipes, and that way I can control what type of salt is used and how fresh my solution is.
You can administer it using a special blunt syringe or bulb which your doctor or pharmacy can provide OR use the neti pot, a traditional Indian Ayurvedic Medicine tool. You should be able to get it in a store with good yoga supplies, as nasal lavage is part of Yoga’s instruction for personal hygiene.
___ If you want a commercial product, ask your physician if this product has “acceptable” preservatives; it is one I have used, and it is portable (but I need it very infrequently):
